Are you read to dive in to fair isle sweater knitting? Join as we work together to knit through each step of Jennifer Steingass' Vintersol!

Cost: $72 for three 2-hour sessions.

Required Skills: Advanced beginner to intermediate. Must know basic knitting skills of casting on, knit, purl, and bind off. Basic experience with fair isle knitting preferred.

Required Materials:

Pattern: Vintersol by Jennifer Steingass. Pattern included in class price. Please get your copy via the cashier in the shop prior to the first class.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn held double OR worsted/heavy DK. See size and yarn charts below. 

MC: 820 (850, 900, 925)(1000, 1100, 1200, 1300) yds
CC1: 240, (250, 260, 270)(280, 290, 300, 310) yds
CC2: 240, (250, 260, 270)(280, 290, 300, 310) yds

Finished measurements: 
Bust circumference: 33.75 (35.5, 37, 40.5)(43.75, 47.25, 50.5, 54)” 
Recommended ease: 2-4”. Sample shown with 2” / 5 cm ease.

Gauge: 19 stitches and 26 rounds = 4” / 10cm 

**Pre-Class Homework: Please bring a washed and blocked gauge swatch to the first class.

Needles: 
US 5 (3.75 mm) DPNs (or long circular for magic loop), and 24” (60 cm) or longer circular for waistband. 
US 6 (4 mm) DPNs for sleeves and 32” (80 cm) or longer circular needle for body. 40” (100 cm) long needles suggested for provisional yoke cast on.

Homework: There will be homework between each session.
