Mosaic & Lace - Thursdays, July 13 & 25, 6-8pm

$ 50.00

Class Date

Vendor: Knotty Lamb

Join us as we learn two different knitting techniques - mosaic and lace! Both of these knitting methods produce gorgeous results on their own and we were so excited to find a pattern that incorporates them both! We'll be following the pattern Copenhagen Calling by Isabell Kraemer.

In Mosaic & Lace, we'll cover the basics of both mosaic knitting and lace knitting. Mosaic knitting is the art of slipping stitches to produce a specific pattern. This type of colorwork is much easier than others! Lace knitting is characterized by holes that are purposefully created in the fabric giving the finished product an aesthetic appeal. You will find many patterns in your knitting career that require at least a small amount of lace knitting. This is a great skill to have!
