Nordiska Sweater - Sundays, Feb 3, 10, & 24, 2-4pm
Join us as we work through Caitlin Hunter's Nordiska sweater pattern! This top-down, raglan-style, v-neck colorwork sweater is a joy to knit. This class will focus on sizing, knitting/purling, picking up stitches, cabling and colorwork.
Cost: $65 for three 2-hour sessions.
Nordiska by Caitlin Hunter. Pattern is not included in class price. Please purchase pattern on Ravelry or via the cashier in the shop prior to the first class.

Note! Needle size is a suggestion only, you will need to swatch to determine the needle size needed to achieve gauge for you.
Ribbing: US 2/2.75 mm
Main: US 4/3.5 mm
Swatch both colorwork and stockinette as you may need to change needle sizes to maintain an even gauge. You should always knit your swatch the same way that the pattern is knit—in this case, in the round. Block your swatch as you will your finished garment and allow it to dry fully before measuring.
20 sts and 28 rows/rounds over 4” 10 cm after blocking with larger needles in both colorwork and stockinette

Measurements given are for the finished garment. This sweater is designed to fit with 10-12” 25.5-30.5 of positive ease at the bust and 7” 18 cm of positive ease at the upper arm. Nordiska is designed to fit cropped with a deep raglan. A schematic is included in the pattern.

You may bring your own materials to class or if you wish to purchase prior to the start of the first class, you will receive a 20% discount on materials.
Homework: There will be homework between each session. This is the reason for spacing the sessions out.
