Love This Base

I haven't actually started on my project but I've used this yarn in the past and knew it would be perfect. It's lovely and soft and one of the few yarns that doesn't cause itching or make me break out in hives. They do a good job cleaning the yarn and whatever coating they use to make it super wash works great (I have lanolin and other allergies). This has great memory, but it's not as springy as something like Expression Fiber Arts Resilient Sock. This is a LOT softer than the EFA sock base too- like a million times softer. Some sock yarns are really only good for socks, but this particular one is really versatile.

I'm making a sweater, Morning Cup by Tiffany Kerr. I bought Stormfront, Rose Tint My World, and Firo de Latte and the colors were everything I expected.

One of my favorite yarns

Magpie Fibers Swanky Sock is a super soft, squishy, fingering weight yarn. That touch of cashmere is just enough to make this yarn perfect for any luxury item. The color choices are wonderful too, thank you for stocking so many choices.

Swanky Sock is a treat

I LOVE the Magpie Swanky Sock. It is so incredibly lush, and you enjoy yourself the entire time you're crafting something with it. I bought a couple of skeins for a brioche hat a few years ago, and it's still my favorite knit-wear item. It was so scrumptious and indulgent that (as a birthday gift to myself), I bought sweater quantity. For me, the Swanky Sock isn't at a price point that I can use it for every project, but when it's time for a fiber treat, my mind automatically thinks "Magpie".
