Ballydesmond Mitts - Saturdays, Dec 16 & 30, 12:30-2:30pm
Let's get together and make these fabulous cabled fingerless mitts! In this class we will follow the pattern Ballydesmond by Irish Girlie Knits. These mitts are worked in the round and knit up quickly while you are watching the enticing cables come to life!
Cost: $55 for two, 2-hour sessions

Required Skills: This class is perfect for the advanced beginner. Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind off. Experience working in the round is a plus.

Sizes:
Pattern is written for either sport or DK/worsted weight yarn, with two different lengths. See last page of the pattern for more information.
One size fits most adults.
Finished measurements:
Sport weight: 3” wide, unstretched and 10 1/2“ long
DK/worsted weight: 3” wide, unstretched and 9 3/4“ long
Gauge:
Sport weight: 28 sts and 40 rows = 4” over stockinette st
DK/worsted weight: 24 sts and 30 rows = 4” over stockinette st
Yarn:
Sport weight: Approx 200 yards
DK/worsted weight: Approx 185 yards
Needles:
*You may use DPNs, small circumference circulars, or 40" circulars for magic loop.
Sport weight version: Size US 2 1/2 (3.0mm) or size to obtain gauge
DK/worsted weight version: Size US 6 (4.0mm) or size to obtain gauge

Classes are non-refundable within 30 days prior to the workshop/class date. A 50% refund is granted if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the class date.
