Intarsia is a colorwork method that challenges everything you know about colorwork so far. Carrying yarn all the way across the row? Nah. Catching floats? What floats? Once you can do intarsia, you can put any design, anywhere, on any piece of knitting. I swear!

In this intro class, we’ll learn what intarsia is, what you can do with it, and how to knit this amazing technique. You’ll get a hands-on demonstration of my viral yarn
organization hack that virtually eliminates tangling! We’ll work on a practice swatch,
then start on a simple customizable hat.

There is pre-class homework for this class. See below for more information.

Cost: $70 for one 2-hour session.

Required Skills:
Students must be comfortable and confident with basic knitting skills and stranded colorwork.

Required Materials:

We’ll be working on a practice swatch and the My First Intarsia Hat in class.
