Ready to dive into sock making? Join us as we learn the fundamentals of sock making by making a basic sock.
In Sock 101, you will learn how to create socks using two circular needles. You will learn how to cast-on at the cuff, create a heel, and finish off the toe of a beautiful sock!
Cost: $75 for three, 2-hour sessions

*Following CDC and Oregon State guidelines, masks are required regardless of vaccination status.*
Required Skills: Must have advanced beginner knitting skills - cast on, knit, purl, basic increases & decreases, work in the round.
1 skein (100g) fingering weight yarn
TWO SETS of size US 1 (2.25mm) circular needles, 16" or 24" length
Stitch Marker for marking beginning of round
Removable stitch markers (lightbulb shape works best)
You may bring your own materials to class or if you wish to purchase prior to the start of the first class, you will receive a 10% discount on materials.
Pattern: In this class we will use the pattern Vanilla Socks on Magic Loop by Crazy Sock Lady. This pattern is used for both magic loop and two circulars sock knitting, but we will focus on two circulars in this class. Please purchase the pattern prior to the start of the first class, either at home or in our shop.
