Come join us in making these fabulous socks! We will be learning the basic art of sock making by following the pattern Favorite Socks by Kristin Lehrer.
In Sock 101, you will learn how to create socks using double-pointed needles or 9" circular needles. You will learn how to cast-on to dpns, create a heel, and finish off the toe of a beautiful sock!
Cost: $65 for three, 2-hour sessions
Required Skills: Must have advanced beginner knitting skills - cast on, knit, purl, work in the round on double pointed needles.
1 skein fingering weight yarn (approx 400 yards)
Size US 2 double pointed needles (or size for desired gauge)
Tapestry needle or small crochet hook for finishing
You may bring your own materials to class or if you wish to purchase prior to the start of the first class, you will receive a 20% discount on materials.
