Ready for your first color work stranded project? This easy and beautiful colorwork cowl is a perfect choice. Its motif is based on pottery from the Acoma Tribe west of Albuquerque. Knit in the round using worsted weight in two contrasting colors, it features reading a simple chart. It will be your next go-to neck accessory to keep you toasty and cheerful in the winter months.
Cost: $40 for two 2-hour sessions.
- Pattern: The Sunset Mesa Cowl by Jennifer Berg. Pattern is not included in class price. Please purchase pattern on Ravelry or via the cashier in the shop prior to the first class.
- Yarn: Two skeins of worsted weight yarn, at least 210 yards each in contrasting colors.
- Needles: either US 7 or 8, 16" circular needle
- Gauge is not critical for this project
- Stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
- Row counter
You may bring your own materials to class or if you wish to purchase prior to the start of the first class, you will receive a 20% discount on materials.
