Explore and develop the fundamental skills of cable knitting! This class will teach you step by step instructions for three cables (a twist, braid, and a classic Celtic cable), how to read cables in written and in chart form, how to work cables with (and possibly without) a cable needle. Thus, building the skill set to take on any cable pattern.

Cost: $45 for one, 2-hour session

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (comfortable knitting, purling, reading knitting instructions)

Pre-Class Homework:
Before you come to class, with the designated yarn and needles, cast on 36 stitches and knit 4 rows of garter stitch (knit to end of every row for 4 rows).

Required Materials: 
Cable needle
Worsted or DK weight yarn, approx 100 yards
Stitch markers (optional)

You will receive a handout during class on basic cable knitting, with cables covered during class, and photo tutorials.  

You will receive a 10% discount on any required materials you purchase from Knotty Lamb.

Fine Print:  Classes must be paid in full to reserve your spot.  Classes that do not fill up may be cancelled and refunds will be given.  Classes are non-refundable within 30 days prior to the workshop/class date. A 50% refund is granted if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the class date. No refunds will be given for missed classes.
