Ladderback Jacquard with Karel Chan - Sun, Feb 16, 12-2pm
Join us as we learn the mind-blowing colorwork technique of ladderback jacquard with the fabulous instructor, Karel Chan!
Ladderback Jacquard (LBJ) is a game-changing technique for managing colorwork
floats. Once you learn, you may never go back! We’ll make sense of this crazy-looking
method of catching floats that will honestly make your stranded colorwork projects feel
at least 75% less intimidating, tangly, and frustrating. You’ll walk away feeling confident
in choosing any colorwork pattern that catches your eye.
We’ll be working on the Pelagia cowl in class. This pattern has a 2-color colorwork motif with plenty of areas with long floats for you to learn and practice LBJ.
