Next Level Cable Knitting with Seth Richardson - Sat, Jan 25, 10:15a-12:15p
Ready to take your cable knitting to the next level? Let our amazing guest teacher, Seth Richardson, show you how!
About this class:
Cable knitting adds movement and texture to your pieces, but some patterns and charts can look intimidating! This class will help you take your cabling to the next level as we go beyond the basics to examine the mechanics behind the technique. We will look closely at cabling charts and learn how to read them by demystifying all those confusing symbols. Participants will also learn how to select yarn for cables that really sing, and even learn how to cable without a cabling needle. The project that we will work on in class is a narrow scarf that incorporates intertwined cabled ropes that are just intricate enough to keep you on your toes but still accessible to help you gain confidence with working from charts.
