In this class we will learn modular and mosaic colorwork techniques, modifications for adjusting the length, short row shaping in a collar, and a modified 3-needle bind off.
Cost: $85 for three 2-hour sessions. Pattern not included in purchase price.
Required Skills: This class is designed for the intermediate to advanced knitter. Participants must be comfortable knitting sweaters and obtaining/adapting gauge.

The cardigan is designed to have a roomy fit with 15-30 cm / 6-12” of positive ease.

YARN:
DK weight yarn as follows:
MC approx 500 (545, 590, 620, 675, 740) yards.
CC1 approx 340 (360, 405, 445, 475, 510) yards.
CC2 approx 205 (230, 245, 255, 275, 290) yards.
CC3 approx 185 (205, 220, 235, 260, 280) yards.
CC4 approx 185 (205, 220, 235, 260, 280) yards.
NEEDLES:
Needle A (for the stockinette sections)
One 100 cm /40” circular needle.
Suggested needle size: 3.75 mm / US #5.
Needle B (for the mosaic colorwork sections and the Modified 3-Needle Bind Off)
Two 100 cm / 40” circular needles, and a short spare needle.
Suggested needle size: 4 mm / US #6.
Needle C (for the ribbing)
One 100 cm / 40” (or longer) circular needle and a (set of) needle(s) for working small circumferences in the round.
Suggested needle size: 3.5 mm / US #4.
GAUGE:
Measured after blocking. Mosaic colorwork on Needle B: 20 sts x 50 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”.
