Yarn-Wrapped Rope Baskets - Saturday, Aug 8, 1:30-3:30pm
This is such a fun way to use leftover yarn to make something adorable AND useful! These baskets are perfect as yarn bowls, notions holders, and much more!
We'll use our time together to get started on our basket, cut/prepare yarn to make one, and start our stitching. Note that you likely will not finish your basket during class, but you'll have the skills and the knowledge to do so on your own time.
Cost: $65 for one, 2-hour session. Some materials included in cost (see below).
Location: This is an in-person class held at Knotty Lamb.
Required Skills: For the beginner! No embroidery knowledge is necessary.
Required Materials:
Scraps of yarn - worsted weight/bulky or equivalent. (For the beginner basket, you'll need 15-20 yards.)
You can bring leftovers from projects, any hand-spun or art yarn you'd like to incorporate, or really anything!
Rope and needle are included in class price and will be handed out during class.
