All About Brioche - Sundays, Oct 11 & 25, 12-2pm

Are you ready to learn the eye-catching, reversible technique of brioche knitting? You're in the right place! Join us as we learn all about the construction of brioche stitches. We will follow Makenzie Alvarez's pattern, Swing Shift, to learn how to work two-color brioche while making this fabulous cowl!

Cost: $65 for two, 2-hour sessions 

Location: This is an in-person class held at Knotty Lamb

Required Skills: Advanced beginner to intermediate knitter. You must be comfortable casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, and binding off. Brioche techniques will be taught.

PATTERN

PRE-CLASS HOMEWORK
You will need to purchase the pattern and work through the cast on and garter section prior to the start of class. This way we can dive right into the brioche section together.

MATERIALS:

Yarn:
Two colors of heavily contrasting yarn in DK weight
Color A: 213 yards
Color B: 232 yards

Needles:
US7 / 4.5 mm circular needle 24” minimum, or size needed to meet gauge

Notions:
Three removable stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Scissors

You may bring your own materials to class or if you wish to purchase prior to the start of the first class, you will receive a 10% discount on materials, excluding patterns.
