Step Into Color! - Colorwork Sock Workshop - Saturday, October 3, 10:15am-1:15pm
Elevate your knitting and add some personality to your footwear! There is nothing quite as satisfying as watching a beautiful pattern emerge from your needles, and this class is designed to help you "level up" your sock drawer with confidence.
In this workshop, we’ll demystify the art of stranded colorwork on a small scale. We will focus on the magic of colorwork techniques, specifically learning how to maintain the perfect "float" tension so your socks remain stretchy and comfortable. Whether you knit Continental or English style, you will learn how to manage two colors of yarn without tangling and how to read color charts with ease.
Come learn in a relaxed, supportive environment. You’ll leave not only with the start of a stunning, hand-knit masterpiece but also with the skills to tackle any patterned sock project in the future.
