In this class, we'll guide you step-by-step through a swatch.
We'll cover everything you need to know to confidently knit beautiful, geometric colorwork:
• Reading an intarsia pattern and understanding how it translates to your knitting.
• Managing multiple yarns/bobbins of yarn to keep your work tangle-free.
• Twisting your yarns to prevent holes and create clean color changes.
• Tackling the unique challenges of geometric shapes and sharp angles.
This class is ideal for intermediate knitters who are comfortable with basic stitches and are ready to tackle a new challenge. We'll demystify the intarsia process and provide you with the skills to confidently create the fun swatch to get the hang of the technique and prepare you for other beautiful intarsia projects in the future.
Cost: $45 for one, 2-hour session
Location: This is an in-person class held at Knotty Lamb
Required Skills: Advanced Beginner (comfortable knitting, purling, yarn overs, increasing/decreasing, reading knitting instructions)

Needles and Yarn:
- US6/4 mm needle
- DK weight yarn, pattern is designed for a 3 colors with visible contrast
You will receive a handout during class on basic intarsia knitting and photo tutorials.
You may bring your own materials to class or if you wish to purchase prior to the start of the first class, you will receive a 10% discount on materials, excluding patterns.

Fine Print: Classes must be paid in full to reserve your spot. Classes that do not fill up may be cancelled and refunds will be given. Classes are non-refundable within 30 days prior to the workshop/class date. A 50% refund is granted if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the class date. No refunds will be given for missed classes.
