Did you know that "ito" (糸) is the Japanese word for yarn or thread? True to its name, ITO Yarn & Design embodies the pure essence of fine Japanese textile traditions. Known for their exquisite textures, fine weights, and vibrant color palettes, ITO yarns are designed to be knit alone or held together to create entirely custom fabrics.
During this casual and inspiring session, you will get to touch, swatch, and experiment with several different ITO bases. Sandy will guide you through the distinct characteristics of each fiber, sharing expert tips on how to combine them to elevate your projects.
Event Details:
- Date & Time: Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
- Cost: $10 per seat.

- Skill Level: Open to all skill levels! You just need to have some basic familiarity with knitting or crocheting (know how to cast on, knit/purl, or basic crochet stitches) to join in the fun.
What to Bring:
- Your own needles or hooks: Please bring knitting needles or crochet hooks in sizes US 4 (3.5mm) to US 7 (4.5mm) so you can comfortably swatch the different yarn combinations.
