Discover the beauty of Japanese yarn engineering at our exclusive ITO Yarn Color Mixing Workshop! Led by the wonderful Sandy Barnes of ITO Yarns and focusing on ITO's mohair line, Sensai, this workshop is your passport to exploring some of the most unique, high-quality, and innovative fibers in the textile world.

This hands-on workshop invites participants to think beyond conventional color matching and explore the intentional combination of ITO yarns. Discover how blending unexpected mohair shades can completely transform your next project. Using Sensai alongside yarns like Kinu, Rashida, and Shio in a wide range of colorways, you will learn to create depth, soft highlights or lowlights, a delicate shimmer, or a subtle neutral finish. Whether aimed at a quiet accent or a bold statement, this session demonstrates how targeted material and color mixing defines the character of a knitted piece.

During this casual and inspiring session, you will get to touch, swatch, and experiment with several different ITO combinations. Sandy will guide you through the distinct characteristics of each fiber, sharing expert tips on how to combine them to elevate your projects.
