Mending Your Knitting -Sunday, August 2, 12-2pm
Have you worn a hole in your knitwear, perhaps a sock that needs mending or an unfortunate event occurred with a beloved garment?
This class we will review different techniques to mend your work:
1. Woven patch
2. Knitted Patch
3. Swiss darning
4. Scotch darning
Cost: $45 for one 2-hour session.
Pre-Class Homework:
You will need to bring 4 swatches to practice the different techniques. They can be swatches from previous projects but you are welcome to make new swatches if you like. 4x4" square is a good size.
Required Materials:
-Yarn similar in size to your swatch but in a contrasting light color yarn
-Darning needles
-Small scissors
-Darning egg or mushroom but you can also use a wooden ladle or spoon, a tennis ball,
or any makeshift darning form (optional)

Fine Print: Classes must be paid in full to reserve your spot. Classes that do not fill up may be cancelled and refunds will be given. Classes are non-refundable within 30 days prior to the workshop/class date. A 50% refund is granted if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the class date. No refunds will be given for missed classes.
