Seleste Tee - Saturdays, Oct 9, 16, & Nov 6, 12:15-2:15pm
Ready to learn how to incorporate lace and bobbles into your sweaters? Join us as we work through the beautiful sweater pattern Seleste Tee by Sari Nordlundh. In this class, you will learn how to follow a written pattern or read a chart to knit a seamless, top-down sweater while incorporating simple lacework and a few two-round bobbles that are knit completely on the right side of the work!
Skill Level: Intermediate knitting skills required. Must have prior basic experience with sweater knitting.

You will need to purchase a copy of Seleste Tee by Sari Nordlund before the start of the first session. Pattern can be purchased through Ravelry (click here for pattern) or by visiting us in the shop at least 20 minutes prior to the start of class.

Note: The pattern uses two strands of fingering weight yarn held together, but they can be substituted for a single strand of DK or light worsted weight yarn.
1575 (1725, 1900, 2075, 2300, 2525, 2775, 3050, 3350) yards of fingering weight yarn
800 (875, 950, 1050, 1150, 1275, 1400, 1525, 1675) yards of DK weight yarn
Note! Needle size is suggested only, you will need to swatch to determine the needle size needed to achieve gauge.
3.0 mm / US2.5 DPNs or a circular needle with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for cuffs
3.0 mm / US2.5 circular needle with a cable length of 40 cm / 16 inches for the neckline
3.0 mm / US2.5 circular needle with a cable length of 80 cm / 32 inches for smaller sizes and 100 cm / 40 inches for larger sizes for the hem
3.5 mm / US4 DPNs or a circular needle with a cable suitable for small circumference knitting for sleeves
3.5 mm / US4 circular needle with a cable length of 80 cm / 32 inches for smaller sizes and 100 cm / 40 inches for larger sizes for the main part
Note: Always use the needle size that gets you the right gauge!
21 sts and 27 rounds = 10 cm / 4 inches of Stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, after blocking

Classes are non-refundable within 30 days prior to the workshop/class date. A 50% refund is granted if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the class date.
